Nilbound

EDUC 236X - Beyond Bits and Atoms (Winter 2015)

Nilbound is a tangible user interface (TUI) that allows K-12 students to compose and decompose numbers using physical manipulatives. The goal is to empower students to think flexibly about mathematics, while experiencing the embodied cognition that comes with using your hands to build a number and pull it apart again.
